YouTube is Dying
So I was browsing my generation’s favorite internet video site when realized what this site has become since it was founded. All you ever see now is “CLICK HERE” on all these videos. The channel owner looks at their video views and goes: “I COULD MAKE MONEY OFF THIS!”. YouTube used to be just a place where anyone could post their video and be judged fairly based on the integrity and the underlying message of their video.
Of course, we all know this to be a lie. Sense no matter what you put up onto that site, you’re going to get yelled at by some guy who had a bad day and likes to take it out on random people. Not to mention some channels are resorting to watermarking all of their thumbnails and making you watch a commercial before you can watch their video. Where will all of this end up in the end? Soon you won’t be able to go onto that site without being pelted by pathetic vloggers who want to be heard, or ads asking you about your penis size. I have actually found videos of people posting vlogs on how YouTube is dying. WHAT THE HELL? Do these people not see the twisted irony of what they’re doing?
When I posted that article about Kanye West and Taylor Swift, I searched for 20 minutes and could not find ONE video that was just the original. Every single video was just some retarded guy yelling at a camera pretending like their opinion actually matters. I never found one of the original videos, and resorted to posting one of the Vlogs.
My conclusion: YouTube is giving the users too much power. Slowly but surely, it’s turning into 4chan. Don’t know what that is? Google it, you fu***** troll.

Youtube is just getting even more popular just like twitter just like facebook… the more people the more dumb down it gets. Usually the first people to get on these website are high tech/nerd/smart people then the rest of society follows….There will always be the high class producers on there making great content but they will always be out numbered by your little brother posting fart jokes stick death remixes of balloon boy kayne west fighting with tampons….
psh, dying? Hardly. The staggering wealth of humor and knowledge is unsurpassed by any other video site on the internet right now, and will surely stay that way unless Google decides to take it in a different direction, which would be moronic.
youtube is not becoming 4chan in the slightest. google is still doing a good job of regulating it. it’s the internet, people are going to be stupid, that’s how it has evolved to be. 4chan is where the internet goes to die, youtube is just rest stop on the way there.

Thats the point of youtube, its supposed to have random idiots post thier pointless videos online. The original video would be copyrighted material anyways, which is not what Youtube was designed for.
