5 4Chan Memes That Are Still Funny (Plus Some That Aren’t)
By now, if you’re reading this, you should know what 4Chan is. You should have a general outline of what this website consists of. If you don’t, allow me to inform you.
That picture should explain it just as well as I would be able to. It’s a s#%^ hole of people that are not forced to tell you who they are. The end result is some of the most f&#%ed up stuff you will ever hope to see. Take any kind of sick thought that has randomly come into your head, and put it with about 50 thousand of other people’s thoughts. That is 4Chan, and I strongly suggest you never visit the site, for fear of loss of your sanity. Have you ever seen any news broadcast that has spoken of ‘hackers’ calling themselves ‘anonymous’? Yeah, that’s 4Chan.
Even though there has been some very horrible things to come from the site, there are still a very long list of stuff that has kept you laughing through the years. I am here to separate the good and the bad. The memes that are no longer funny, and the memes that still make us laugh when we see them.
5. Lolcats (Still Funny)
Lolcats have been around forever. Since the creation of ICanHazCheezburger.com, Lolcats have been made timeless.
Lolcats will always be funny. You can’t stop it. There will be kids 20 years from now uploading Lolcats to their Myspace, and it will still be funny.

5. Chuck Norris Jokes (Not Funny)
There was a point in time where these jokes made us laugh. But once he makes it onto a news broadcast for the sole reason that a bunch of people that live in their basements think he’s awesome, it has gone too far.
Nobody wants to hear these jokes anymore, especially since everyone discovered the video that proved that Bruce Lee’s power level exceeds his by over 9000.
Watch it, and never make another Chuck Norris Joke again

• Chuck Norris once told Chuck Norris a Chuck Norris joke. But Chuck Norris didn’t laugh. Because Chuck Norris jokes aren’t funny.
• Before the boogeyman goes to sleep, he checks his closet to make sure Chuck Norris folded all the clothes correctly.
4. Mmm Watcha’ Say (Still Funny)
This meme would no longer be funny in the least bit; except the song was recently resurrected by Jason Derulo into a Top 40 song that is constantly played on the radio and at high school dances around the country. Making it one of the most funny situations ever, except for the Right Round restoration by Flo Rida. That was some funny stuff.
This meme was first made popular by SNL, technically not 4Chan. But it moved from SNL onto various places on the internet, like Ytmnd.com

4. Peanut Butter Jelly Time (Not Funny)
This ‘meme’ died when the popular show known as Family Guy used as one of their random jokes. Way to milk it.

3. WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY (Still Funny)
No one don’t know why it’s still so funny. Maybe it’s because no one could actually replicate the noise, therefore it was never overused. Or maybe it’s just because it was never put on a news broadcast.

3. Old Gregg (Not Funny)
Most of you that know what Old Gregg is only know about it because you heard someone quoting it, and looked up the video to see what it was. Only to discover that it’s not funny at all, and makes you want to give up on people who think it is. This video will always be in my least favorite memes category, since it wasn’t ever funny to start with.

This meme has always been funny, since you can slip in the quote into over 9000 situations. There have been so many remixes of this awesome quote; that it’s hard to pick out the best ones.

2. The Cake is a Lie (Not Funny)
This retarded meme was brought about from the famed game Portal (Link), where you are an experiment, forced to test out a gun that shoots portals, in a nutshell. You solve puzzles, and at the beginning of the game you are told there will be cake at the end of the puzzles. A bunch of idiots beat the game in less than 3 hours after the official released and went onto 4Chan and started telling everyone that “THERE IS NO CAKE” or “THE CAKE IS A LIE”. This was followed by an endless barrage of pictures of the companion cube. For some reason, people are still doing this, and we have no idea why.
The cake isn’t a lie, but there still seem to be some followers of the cult belief that the cake doesn’t actually exist. We can see here in this video that there is a song AND cake at the end of the game. So quit your whining, dumb asses.

1. Shoop Da Whoop! (Still Funny)
Shoop Da Whoop, also known as IMMA CHARGIN MAH LAZERR! Is still funny for the sole reason that you can transform anything into it, with a simple copypaste in photoshop, anything is possible. You can’t repeat it in real life, making it difficult to spam people via IRL. There have been various transformations of this meme that have tried to ruin it, and I refuse to mention them.

1. Numa Numa (Not Funny)
Numa Numa Has been around for too long. It has been made into something that news stations show whenever they talk about the internet, and I’m afraid it’s time for it to die. It’s not funny. It was funny, until the original creator of the video made a second video in order to make money. Since it’s the only thing he had to do with his pathetic life.
That video officially killed any kind of credibility this guy had.

btw, the cake IS a lie. there’s no evidence that the one you see at the end actually exists, and certainly you don’t get to have any. which is more the actual intent of the warning message.
